Rappahannock United Way will sponsor a free tax preparation service from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. March 29 at the Caroline High School library.
Trained volunteers will offer this service free for the community and Caroline public school employees for households that have a combined income of $50,000 or less.
No appointment is necessary. Interested persons should bring W2 forms, a photo ID, Social Security cards for each taxpayer and dependents, and any additional tax-related information.
The United Way will offer another tax night service at the high school on April 3, which is a change from original plans to hold one April 5.
