The Caroline Library and the Caroline County Genealogical Society will host a genealogy conference April 20-21.
The event will begin at the Caroline Visitor Center at 6 p.m. April 20 and will continue at the Caroline Library in Bowling Green at 8:30 a.m. April 21 Registration is $75 for both days, and $50 for Saturday only. The deadline to register is April 17.
The registration fee does not include Saturday lunch, which may be provided for an additional charge.
Conference speakers will cover such topics as newspaper research and other tools in genealogical research.
Speakers will include Bowling Greden Mayor David Storke, certified genealogist Victor Dunn, Caroline Clerk of the Circuit Court Ray Campbell, society president Kimberly Campbell, Diane Ballman of the Central Rappahannock Heritage Center, and local historian Herbert Collins.
The visitor center is located at 23724 Rogers Clark Boulevard in Ruther Glen; the library is located at 17202 Richmond Turnpike in Milford.
