Caroline County Humane Society is still seeking vendors for “Paws for Fun” on April 28 at the Caroline County Agricultural Fairgrounds. Interested persons need to submit their vendor application by April 14.

The society has not had the vendor response that they received last year, but they are hopeful that more interest will come soon.

“Last year we had a total of 15 vendors,” said the event coordinator Jane Hardee. “Eight vendors have signed up this so far.”

Everyone is encouraged to bring their canine and enjoy the festivities. Admission is $5 per person. Children under five years old are free.  Dogs are free as well, but must be at least four months old, have current vaccinations, and a non-retractable leash.

The day’s events include blessing of the animals, pet rescue groups’ demonstrations, “Ask the Vet” with Dr. Debbie Grissom, a pooch playground, games and treats, vendors, crafters, pet CPR and first aid demonstrations, Caroline County Animal Control, and food concessions.

For a vendor application or more information call Jane Hardee at (804) 994-5152 or visit http://www.carolinehumanesociety.org/.
