Wrestlers win tri-match

MILFORD – The Caroline High School wrestling team defeated Middlesex and King William in a tri-match on Thursday of last week to start the season 2-0.

Caroline defeated Middlesex 42-33, then stopped King William 51-30.

Six Cavalier wrestlers went undefeated for the night, winning both of their matches: Jimmy McClure, Ben Crawford, Luke Price, Cody Kidd, Donald Harris-Smith, and Neal Carter.

Caroline was scheduled this week to visit Glen Allen in Henrico County on Wednesday, then host the Caroline Invitational on Saturday.

The Cavaliers are scheduled to visit Chancellor Dec. 12 for a tri-match with Courtland, then participate in the Montrossity Wrestling Tournament at Washington & Lee Dec. 15.
