DOSWELL – Kings Dominion has begun the process of hiring 4,000 people for its 2013 season.
The theme park is seeking for applicants to fill job openings throughout the park, including food and beverage, games, merchandise, rides, admissions, guest services, first aid, security, and various other departments. It is hiring to fill both entry-level and supervisory positions.
Applicants must be at least 15 years of age and apply online at www.kingsdominion.com/jobs. Qualified candidates will be contacted to conduct an on-site interview.
“Kings Dominion is looking for high-energy, outgoing individuals who want to have fun yet work hard at the same time to provide our park guests with the best entertainment experience in the region,” said Greg Talley, human resources director for the theme park.
Kings Dominion also is seeking qualified people to work for its entertainment team, including actors, dancers, singers, characters, technicians, theater attendants, stage managers, supervisors, and more. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online and attend one of the park’s two entertainment audition dates.
Auditions for entertainment positions will be held Feb. 2 and 16 at 1 p.m. Registration is at 1 p.m. for singers, actors, and characters, and 4 p.m. for dancers, stage managers, technicians, and other positions. Applicants for entertainment positions who are unable to attend an audition may submit an appropriate audition video online at the theme park’s webpage for jobs (listed above).
Kings Dominion will open for its 39th season on March 29.
