Kings Dominion still looking to fill jobs
DOSWELL – Kings Dominion is in the midst of a hiring blitz, expecting to add another 400 seasonal workers as it gets ready to open this week for the summer.
The amusement park is seeking applicants to fill job openings throughout the park, including food and beverage, games, merchandise, rides, water park, admissions and security departments. Entry-level, as well as supervisory positions, are available to qualified applicants.
Applicants must be at least 15 years of age and apply online at www.kingsdominion.com/jobs. Qualified candidates will be contacted to conduct an on-site interview.
The 400 seasonal employees to be hired are part of the nearly 4,000 workers Kings Dominion will hire throughout the 2013 season.
Daily operation at the park begins Friday and will continue through Labor Day.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer employment to those looking for a summer job or those applicants looking for additional hours to supplement their current job,” said Kings Dominion human resource director Greg Talley. “Working at Kings Dominion offers the best of both world’s – providing our guests with excellent customer service while having fun doing it!”
For this season Kings Dominion expanded the Planet Snoopy children’s area, which spans nearly 14 acres and features eight new family rides.
