DOSWELL–Kings Dominion is hiring 644 employees for the largest scare force in the region for its 13th season of Halloween Haunt.
In all, Kings Dominion is looking to fill 644 positions, which is a 6 percent increase from 2012.
Kings Dominion will introduce two mazes for the 13th season of Halloween Haunt and these will be “Miners Revenge” and “Zombie High.” “Miner’s Revenge” is based around the darkness of a coal mine where dead miners are seeking their revenge on unsuspecting guests. Plus, guests may not want to attend the tragic high school prom where the dead are no longer dead at “Zombie High.”
In total, Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion features 10 mazes, six scare zones, five live shows and more than 450 monsters roaming the midways.
Kings Dominion’s upcoming scream tests and creature casting dates for job seekers interested in being Halloween Haunt monsters and performers are: Saturday, Aug. 10 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 17 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 24 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Individuals looking to attend one of the scream tests and creature casting dates are asked to first apply online at www.kingsdominion.com/jobs before attending a casting call. On the day of the casting call, potential employees should go to Kings Dominion’s Human Resource Office, which is located at 16000 Theme Park Way in Doswell.
Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion is open on select nights from Sept. 27 though Oct. 27.
