Hispanic Festival comes to Kings Dominion for Labor Day Weekend
The summer is almost over but there is a lot going on at Kings Dominion this Labor Day weekend for families to enjoy before school start next week for many kids.
Here is a rundown of all the events happening:
Bachata Fest on Sept. 1: Kings Dominion will kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month with Bachata Fest, a Hispanic Music Festival. Artists include Bachata Heightz, Leslie Grace and more. The event is FREE with park admission. It will run from 2 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in the Kingswood Amphitheater at the park. Fireworks Aug. 31 and Sept. 1: For the Labor Day weekend holiday, we will have fireworks at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 31 and Sunday Sept. 1. The fireworks are FREE with park admission. They are best viewed by the Drop Tower in the Grove section of the park.
Water Park Closing for the season on Sept 2: WaterWorks, the 20-acre water park included with park admission, closes for the season on Monday, Sept. 2. There are several slides, two giant wave pools, a lazy river and more for families to enjoy. The best place to find a ticket to Kings Dominion is on our website www.kingsdominion.com.
