Frog Level Festival and Parade is Saturday

FROG LEVEL—The Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department Fall Festival and Parade will go from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, with the parade starting at 11 a.m.

The 45th annual festival will be at the fire department along U.S. 301 one mile north of Route 30. It will feature a silent auction, as well as live entertainment from Cactus Jack, performing at 10 a.m. under a newly built pavilion. Kettles of Brunswick stew will be simmering. Baked goods will be available, along with hotdogs, hamburgers and fries. This year’s event will include lots of vendors, an inflatable obstacle course, pony rides and a Bungee Trampoline.

The parade will feature marching bands, fire trucks and antique cars. The grand marshal will be Channel 6 News meteorologist Carrie Rose.
