Harold W. Gatewood

Harold William Gatewood, 71, of Woodford passed away Jan. 10, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Gatewood, a member of Spotswood Baptist Church, was a repairman for Amtrak.

Survivors include his son, Jason William Gatewood of Stafford County; daughter, Sandra Fay Gatewood Tolbert of Pamplin; two grandchildren, Gary Tolbert Jr. and Teresa F. Tolbert; sister, Laura Howell of Caroline County; and his caregiver, Linda Carter of Caroline.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann Middlebrook Gatewood; and parents, John Bernard and Dorothy Elizabeth Carneal Gatewood.

The family received friends at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg Jan. 14, and a funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel Jan. 15. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
