Shirley B. Liles

Shirley B. Liles, 56, of Ruther Glen died Dec. 8, 2012 at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville.

Mrs. Liles, who was a native of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., had worked at the Exxon Pit Stop in Doswell for more than 10 years.

She was remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend to many and who always had a caring heart.

She is survived by her husband, William C. Liles; a son, William C. Liles Jr. and his girlfriend, Meghan; a daughter, Pamela J. Liles; step-daughter, Casey Liles; two brothers, Jimmie Ray Burnette and his wife, Julie, and Michael Wayne Burnette; two grandsons, Ricky and Parham Cannon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ethel C. Burnette and a brother, Kenneth Burnette.

A funeral service was held Dec. 11 at Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green. Burial followed at Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family thanks her many special friends and caregivers, Annette and Gloria Jean.
