Harry Murdock Beazley Jr.

Harry Murdock Beazley Jr., 83, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 21, 2013 in the presence of his sister and two nieces at Hunterwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Mr. Beazley was born in Upper Zion, which is now part of Fort A. P. Hill. He lived most of his life as a farmer in Caroline County but resided the last 14 years in Charlotte, N.C.

A lifelong bachelor, he was a beloved brother and uncle. Mr. Beazley delighted and enjoyed his nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and great-great-nephew and great-great-niece.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma Kaitbenski of Southbridge, Mass.; four nieces, Rosemary Wilcox of Fredericksburg, Janet Atwell of Charlotte, N.C., Donna Weaver of Woodstock, Conn., and Elizabeth Johnson of Texas;  and two nephews Dennis Roberts of Woodford and Stephen Kaitbenski of Southbridge, Mass.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Murdock Beazley Sr., his mother, Leola Hall Beazley, and two sisters, Matilda Foor and Louise Johnson.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. March 2 at Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Randy Newsome officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
