James Christopher Cauthorne Sr.

James Christopher Cauthorne Sr., 82, of Ruther Glen departed this life Feb. 23, 2013.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruby N. Cauthorne; six children, James C. Cauthorne Jr., Daisy Jackson, Allen Cauthorne, Jessie Cauthorne, Diane Edwards, and Alice Cline; three brothers, Eddie Cauthorne, William Cauthorne and Charles Cauthorne; a sister, Margaret Edwards; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Conway and Minnie Cauthorne; a son, Eddie Cauthorne; two brothers, Gene and Robert Cauthorne; and a sister, Doris Mahone.

A funeral service was held at Beaverdam Funeral Home Feb. 26 with The Rev. Steven Dorton officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Baptist Church cemetery.
