 adio Enthusiasts or FLARE. Our mission is: </span></span></p>\n<p><span st

  Verdana\, Helvetica\, Arial\;'><br />\n</span>FLARE will promote amateur 
 radio in Caroline County Virginia and nearby counties of Essex\, King Will
 iam\, King & Queen and Northern Hanover that by their rural nature have li
 mited access to the resources found in metropolitan areas. Licensed amateu
 r radio operators and those aspiring to become licensed will receive initi
 al and ongoing education\, peer support\, public advocacy and development 
 of shared infrastructure radio systems. FLARE and its members will pursue 
 the Federal Communications Commission’s mandate for amateur radio: “…provi
 ding the nation with a pool of trained radio operators and technicians who
  can provide essential communications during emergencies”.</span></p>\n<p>
