The Bowling Green Arts Commission had its Fifth Annual Fine Art Juried Exhibition Nov. 1 and 2, and awarded a total of $850 to five winners.
The art show was in the Bowling Green Town Hall where visitors could participate in a paid wine-tasting to raise money for the Caroline Alliance Against Violence. Proceeds will be used by CAAV to provide educational training and awareness programs in Caroline County.
Exhibition judges were Nancy Williams, who has an art studio near Fredericksburg, and Denise Antil, a board member of a sculptural gallery and a jewelry artist.

Honorable Mention: Rachel Carroll, Spotsylvania, Title of Work: The Wash
Honorable Mention: Kayla Ellsworth, Fredericksburg, Title of Work: Cold Moonlight
