If you’re 65 or older, you’ll get into Caroline High School varsity and junior varsity football games for half price, said Paul Heizer, CHS athletic director.
Varsity game tickets are normally $6 but seniors will be admitted to home games for $3. The deal is even sweeter for junior varsity tickets, which will drop from $5 to just $2 for seniors. Seniors will need to show photo identification to prove they live in Caroline County.
“We’re trying to get more in the community to attend the games,” Heizer said. “They used to knock a dollar off. This will help a little more.”
The discount applies only to home games, and the first varsity home game is Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. and is against Henrico. The first junior varsity home game is Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. and is against Glen Allen.
