The Caroline Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a concert ticket event headlining Kevin Mac formerly of King George and local band favorite, Runnin’ Hot. The event takes place on Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. at Bowling Green Event Hall (Town Hall).
Tickets will be available on www.kevinmac.eventbrite.com for $20 per person.
You must be 21 years to attend. The event will not sell alcohol, but concertgoers can bring their own alcohol beverages. Light refreshments and table set-ups will be provided.
Mac will perform some original songs as well as southern rock and country songs. He is currently residing in Va. Beach and has been in Country Music Radio since he was 18.
Kevin’s opened for industry heavy hitters Martina McBride, Phil Vassar, Darryl Worley and has gotten a nod from Kenney Chesney, who he also opened up for in some 2008 concerts and more recently last summer he opened for Trace Atkins at Celebrate Virginia Live in Fredericksburg. Locally he performs frequently at Hard Times Restaurant/Bar.
Born in King George County, VA, Mac was bred on country/bluegrass music and raised in the church. He began his career as a radio personality and deejay in Virginia, which led to opportunities for him to, perform. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University where he received a BS in Communications/Mass Media.
