The Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department is busy planning its 45th annual Fall Festival & Parade for Oct. 26.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s event will include lots of vendors, a bake sale, an inflatable octopus, pony rides, Bungee Trampoline and a silent auction. The parade starts at 11 a.m. with marching bands, fire trucks and much more. This year’s grand marshal is Channel 6 News meteorologist Carrie Rose.
The firemen will be busy throughout Friday night, Oct. 25 preparing their famous “Brunswick Stew.” Hotdogs, hamburgers, fries and sweet treats will also be available.
Under a newly built pavilion, music for the day will feature “Cactus Jack,” beginning at 10 a.m.
The fire department is located 1 mile north of Route 30 on Route 301. Come for a day of fun. For more information contact Crystal Rozell, parade chairman, at 804-338-8697.
