Kellam “Kelly” Fred Brooks

Kellam “Kelly” Fred Brooks, 46, of Ruther Glen, died Feb. 28, 2014 at Memorial Regional Medical Center.

Born in Fredericksburg, he had worked at Lewis Tree Company, was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Twin Oaks Hunt Club.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Brooks; his mother, Ann Rose and her husband, Bobby; his father, Kellam G. Brooks and his wife, Debbie; a sister, Lynn Sale and her husband, James; three step-children, Tammy Rogers, Kelly Mowell and David Rogers; an uncle, Michael Satterwhite; two nieces, Logan and Shelby Sale, five step- grandchildren, Holly and Marissa Britt, Shadiamond Clory;  Bradley Britt and Kellam Clory.  He was preceded in death by an uncle, Percy Satterwhite, Jr.

A funeral service will be at  2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4 in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Kevin James officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 3 at the funeral home.
