Caroline Library, Inc., invites children, teens, and adults to “Paws to Read” this summer at each branch.
From now through Aug. 8, teens can sign up on the library’s website to keep track of their reading minutes and enter their name in a drawing for each book read. In addition, they can read five books, print the certificate, and enter another drawing to be held on Aug. 15.
Also, adults can read any book, fill out a form, and enter a drawing for a brand-new bestseller.
Children’s completed reading logs are due Monday, Aug. 11 to Friday, Aug. 15 for prizes.
Throughout the summer months, there will be special displays, books to read, prizes to win, crafts to be done, and much fun to be had.
Teens are also encouraged to participate in this summer’s writing contest, running now through Aug. 1. Write a story based on the poster hanging up in each library branch; instructions will be provided.
