No longer concerns over prostitution and STD's

Early last August, Caroline experienced a public health scare, but over the last 10 months no further information about prostitution and communicable diseases has been reported. Members of the Rappahannock Area Health District (RAHD) released information that then-current research uncovered sex workers, some of whom were infected with sexually transmitted diseases, operating within the county. Even though the Caroline Sheriff's Department made a prostitution-related arrest last week, Sheriff Tony Lippa says he hasn't heard about any public health concern since he took office in January.
