Lack Of Resources For Unemployed
Jobseekers face tougher challenges in rural county

Walking the sidewalks of Bowling Green on almost a daily basis, she searches for work and tries to find answers about unemployment opportunities and disability resources. She fills out applications, stops to buy a soda, and heads back to her mother's apartment on Chase Street. It's her daily routine for at least three days every week, but she always gets the same response. "Just going and asking people if they have an opening," Gloria Moore explains the most difficult part of job hunting. "And, they say 'business is slow' or something like that."
