General Assembly to convene

The General Assembly convenes Jan. 11 in Richmond. Caroline County is represented by four members of the state legislature. In the House of Delegates, it is represented by Del. John Cox, a Republican from Hanover County serving the 55th District; Del. Bobby Orrock, a Republican from Caroline serving the 54th district; and Del. Margaret Ransone, a Republican from Westmoreland County serving the 99th District. In the state Senate, Caroline is represented by Sen. Ryan McDougle, a Republican from Hanover who serves the 4th District.
