DOSWELL – Kings Dominion amusement park is now accepting applications to fill over 2,500 temporary jobs for the 2012 season.
The park also will hold auditions next month for performing positions for its entertainment offerings.
A wide variety of seasonal positions are available, from entry-level to advanced, in food and beverage, rides, games, merchandise, admissions, security and many other departments. Applicants must be at least 16.
The amusement park is seeking trained, talented, versatile and experienced musicians, actors, singers, dancers, characters, theatre attendants, technicians, costumers and supervisors for entertainment. Auditions will be held at the park Feb. 11, 18 and 25.

Kings Dominion expects to welcome 2 million guests to the 400-acre amusement park and waterpark this summer. It is open weekends beginning in April and starts daily operations Memorial Day weekend.
The park features over 60 rides, slides, live shows and attractions and a 20-acre water playground.
