CHS honors athletes in fall sports

MILFORD – Breland Allen, Chandler Moison, and Brook Brookes won Cavalier Awards for most valuable player on their fall athletic teams at Caroline High School.

Allen received the Cavalier Award for football, Moison, field hockey, and Brookes, volleyball, during the school’s fall sports awards ceremony on Monday.

Three other athletes received the Cavalier Award for varsity teams. Aaron Carter and Daliekqua Parker won for cross country, and Corey James won for golf.

The school also presented the Cavalier Award to members of junior varsity teams as follows: football-Dwandre Parker; field hockey- Chelsey Chinault; volleyball-Krystle Mountjoy

Nine athletes received an award for Most Improved. They were: football-Duane Fields; field hockey-Jasmine Smith; volleyball-Courtney Didlake; cross country-Justin Howard, Danielle Coleman; golf-Gabriella Rivera; JV football-Terrell Johnson; JV field hockey-Madison Coleman; JV volleyball-Daijah Wilson.

The following students were recipients of the Leadership Award: football-Brent Harris; field hockey-Morgan Compher; volleyball-Tasha Johnson; cross country-Zach Gotschalk; golf-Jordan Byers; JV football-Jonathan Brown, Robert Gerber; JV field hockey-Jordan Skinner; JV volleyball-India Holmes.
