On Sunday, September, 10, Bethany Baptist Church will celebrate its 247th year with a Special Homecoming Service. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch on the lawn. First Baptist Church, 9262 Guinea Station Road, Woodford, will hold its 3rd Annual Fashion Show on Saturday, September 16, at 2 p.m. This year’s theme is “Fashion and Faith.”

On Saturday, September 16, beginning at 9 a.m. Milford Presbyterian Church will be hosting the 18th Annual Milford Day event on the church lawn, located at the corner of Church Street and Blatt Avenue in Milford, Virginia (17283 Blatt Ave, Milford 22514). The day provides an opportunity for the community to gather, socialize and enjoy a range of activities. “Sunset and Main”, “The Dixie Belles”, “Denim and Lace”, Gladys Whitener and the Caroline High School Marching Cavaliers will be sharing their musical talents with those attending. The Church will be hosting a yard sale, bake sale, hamburger/hot dog sale, face painting and other children’s activities. Chicken dinners prepared by Bo Satterwhite will be available for sale beginning at 11 a.m. In addition, church member Barbara Byrd has generously donated an original painting to be raffled with the winner announced Sunday. Proceeds from the event support Youth activities at the church and additional donations are made to local emergency agencies. Activities will end at 2 p.m. We hope to see you there.
