*The food pantry at Bowling Green United Methodist Church is open on the third Thursday of every month. Doors open at 5 p.m. for registration. Food will be distributed from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
*All-You-Can-Eat Salt Herring Breakfast, sponsored by the Madison Ruritan Club, 18206 Timothy Lane, Ladysmith. *Receive advice on planning your garden and having a beautiful lawn from Mike Broaddus, the County Extension Agent, at the Port Royal Ruritan meeting at the Port Royal Fire House. *STA Title & Escrow is sponsoring the Ins & Outs of the new Closing Disclosure from 10 a.m. – noon at the Bowling Green Town Hall. The cost of attendance is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. Registration is required.

*Fredericksburg RV Show at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center. Friday the 27th from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday the 28th from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Adults at the door $10, online $9; seniors at the door $9, online $8; kids 12 and younger are free.

*Aikido Black Belt Tests will be held from 11 a.m. – noon at the Aikido in Fredericksburg, 6155 Hickory Ridge Rd, Spotsylvania. Candidates for black belts will demonstrate the effective, yet non-violent martial art of Aikido. This event is free. For more information, call (540) 582-9600.
*The Caroline Moose Lodge will host a dance with music by Ladyz and the Trampz from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., open to the public.
*Caroline Middle School’s second annual Cheer Fest will be at 3 p.m. in the Caroline High School gym. Benton Middle School (Prince William County), Caroline Middle School (Caroline County), Goochland Middle School (Goochland County), Locust Grove Middle School (Orange County), and Louisa County Middle School (Louisa County) will all be participating. Entertainment will showcased by the CMS step-team and a guest dance duo. Admission is $5. A variety of concession and T-shirt options will be available as well.
