Drug charges filed against minors

The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office filed several drug-related and other charges during the week ending March 22.

Devron J. Brown, 18, of Ruther Glen was charged with possession of marijuana March 14.

Tre-Shawn L. Burrus, 18, of Ruther Glen was charged with public drunkenness and underage possession of alcohol March 15.

Travis M. Clements, 20, of Ruther Glen, and Cody C. Griemsman, 19, of Bowling Green were charged with possession of marijuana March 16.

Kyle W. Huffman, 20, of Bowling Green was charged with shoplifting March 18.

A 14- and a 15-year-old female were charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery March 18.

A 17-year-old female was charged with possession of marijuana March 18.

Another 17-year-old female was charged with underage possession of tobacco March 18.

Angela M. Cooper, 46, of Ruther Glen, was charged with making a false report to law enforcement March 19.

Pernell A. Childs, 49, of Rappahannock Academy, was charged with trespassing March 19.

Larry W. Hulo, Jr., 45, of Leroy, N.Y., was charged with public drunkenness March 21.

Gregory A. Hulo, 42, of Ruther Glen was charged with driving under the influence March 21.

Jeremiah P. Headson, 36, of Ruther Glen was charged with possession of marijuana and reckless driving March 21.

Two 15-year-old females were charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery March 21.

Dylan L. Schultz, 22, of Fredericksburg was charged with public drunkenness March 22.

Salvador Rodriguez, 27, of Locust Grove was charged with possession of marijuana March 22.

According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, Caroline deputies made six drug arrests, one DUI arrest, three domestic violence arrests, 65 other criminal arrests and issued three animal control summons or arrests during the past week.

The deputies served 322 civil papers, issued 73 traffic summonses, handled eight motor vehicle crashes, responded to 24 alarm calls, and dealt with six juvenile offenders.

The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched 574 calls for service and handled 1,526 telephone inquiries. The CCSO also logged 37 calls assisting outside agencies and had 508 self-initiated calls.
