On Feb. 17, 2016, four suspects were taken into custody as a result of a long-term undercover drug operation. Three simultaneous search warrants were executed by the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office Special Emergency Response Team with assistance from the Virginia State Police Tactical Team, the King George County Sheriff’s Office Special Emergency Response Team and agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
Caroline Sheriff Tony Lippa stated, “Today’s operation was the result of a long and thorough investigation that focused on a group of individuals believed to be the leaders of a large-scale cocaine distribution organization in Caroline County. As a result of today’s operation, Investigators reported seizing numerous plastic bags containing what is believed to be cocaine, over $4,000 in cash, one firearm, plastic bags containing what is believed to be marijuana, digital weight scales, numerous cellular devices and two vehicles.”
The four suspects, taken into custody without incident, were 48-year-old Jeffery Goodall, 28-year-old Delonte Morris, 32-year-old Demond Goodall and 49-year-old Reginald Tillman, all residents of the southern portion of Caroline County. They were arrested on charges relating to cocaine distribution and transported to the Pamunkey Regional Jail.
