More than 2,000 dog lovers all over Caroline responded to Facebook alarms from Frank Daig (left) and Kelsey Wolfrey of Milford when their half-grown Lab pups ran out into the blizzard. Ryder and Bella were missing from 6 a.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday, found five miles away from home by Irene Holtzman, their collars packed with ice, a few patches of frostbite, but otherwise unharmed.
