When dealing with life’s daily demands, people need a place to go where they can feel supported and receive help in trying times, a place where adults can find life balance, children can reach their full potential, seniors can be active and find camaraderie, and families can connect and strengthen relationships.
By becoming involved with the Caroline Family YMCA, individuals have the opportunity to improve their health and well-being and connect with the community, all while participating in their favorite program or activity at the Y.
“The Caroline Family YMCA is a community that is dedicated to helping individuals achieve a balance of spirit, mind and body,” said Paul Gehring, Executive Director of the Caroline Family YMCA.
“We encourage everyone to get involved by joining the Y, where they can take advantage of the resources and support to be healthy and connected.”
As a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y seeks to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
To help more people benefit from the Y, the Caroline Family YMCA is holding a membership drive during the month of June. It is called our “Pay the Day” Promotion.
During this promotion, if you join during the month of June you simply will pay the amount of what day you join. For example, if you join on June 20, you will only pay $20 for that month and then you will start the regular membership payments in July. The sooner you join, the more you will save. This special is only happening during June, so do not wait.
The Caroline Family YMCA does not turn away anyone for their ability to pay. If you need financial help to join the YMCA we do offer help through our “Open Doors Program.” See our membership staff for more information.
The Caroline Family YMCA offers a variety of programs to help achieve greater health and well-being, nurture youth and inspire individuals to give back to better their community. Currently we are conducting swim lessons for all ages and skill levels, summer camp for elementary age children and a half day KinderCamp on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 3-5 year olds.
The Caroline Family YMCA is located at 17422 Library Blvd, Ruther Glen. For more information, contact us at (804) 448-9622, or visit www.family-ymca.org for more information.
