A graveside service for Marjorie May Garrett, 88, of Emerald Isle, N.C., formerly of Rappahannock Academy, Va, will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Bowling Green, Va, on Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m., with the Reverend Bobby Greene officiating.
Marjorie died at her home in Emerald Isle on April 10, 2015, surrounded by her family. She is survived by a son, James E. Garrett (Jamie) of Emerald Isle and a daughter, E. Kay Watson (Reinhardt) of Rappahannock Academy; six grandchildren, James D. Garrett (Erin) of Elizabeth City, NC; Teresa K. Gaugler (Dave) of Dunn Loring, VA; Ronald D. Garrett of Virginia Beach; Amanda N. Peterson (Greg) of Greenville, NC; Garrett S. Watson of Fredericksburg, VA; and Timothy B. Watson of Rappahannock Academy; seven great-grandchildren; and six nephews and nieces.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, James LeFoe Garrett; a son, Robert L. Garrett; and two brothers, Marvin W. (Buzz) Daniels of Colorado Springs and Roger W. Daniels of Thibodaux, LA.
