Charles Mallory Payne, 86, of Richmond died Monday, August 21, 2017. Born in Spotsylvania, he was the son of the late Thomas Young Payne, SR and Eva Mallory Payne. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War; a member of the Teamsters Union for over 30 years and a member of the Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge #4 AF&AM for approximately 60 years. He loved dancing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Marie Lorenzo Payne; three children, Sharon Payne, Sheila Knighton (David) and Charles Mallory Payne, Jr. and four grandchildren, Mallory Knighton, Joseph Knighton, Isaac Payne and Madeline Payne. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Evelyn Toney and Thomas Young Payne, Jr. The family will receive friends 6-6 Pm Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Allen, Taylor B. Jr.,at age 88, died August 23, 2017. He served his country proudly in the U.S.Airforce during the Korean War. He retired fromt the RF&P Railroad after 38 yrs. Survivors include, son, Vincent Allen (Jeannette); daughter, Kathy Whitaker (Russell); sister, Jane Gibson; five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, August 25, 2017 6-8pm at Bliley’s Staples Mill 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 26 at 10am.
