On a mission to raise awareness for homeless vets:

28-year-old Richard Hart had already peddled 650 miles from his home in Rhode Island, headed for California, when he rolled through Bowling Green last week. “I target big cities with Veterans Administration facilities,” he said, “and scan the streets looking for anyone holding a sign that says ‘homeless veteran,’ then I sit down with these men or women… I share stories about my life and they share stories about theirs. Every interaction is different, but they’re all powerful. Everyone has a story and everyone needs to be recognized. I want to inspire people to give back to the men and women who served our country.”
