“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” are the words of Helen Keller.  These words of Helen Keller are the true essence of the upcoming event “Think Big” Fantasy Fair.  The event will provide a fun day for the entire family, but with the goal of coming together as a community in a big way.

“It’s a day to think beyond the norm,” Donnell Howard, Director of Caroline County Parks and Recreation stated.

This year will mark the second year for the event and is projected to be another day full of fun, education and coming together.  The community involvement mission of the Caroline Parks and Recreation is to be successful in making this a healthier and more delightful Community, it believes it is essential that Caroline Parks and Recreation takes a collaborative approach.

“It will be a mini fun day with educational vendors,” Howard explained.

The day is geared for the entire family, but serving the County’s children is at the heart of the event.

“It will be a fun day for the kids,” Howard exclaimed.

The 2nd Annual “Think Big” Fantasy Fair will be held on May 13 at the Caroline County Community Services Center.   It will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  and will feature a bouncy house for the children.  The tagline for the day includes recreation, education, business and fun.

As this event approaches keep the words of British politician Jacob Rees Mogg in mind, “People coming together as a community can make things happen.”
