Pudden Wright
William Rogers “Pudden” Wright Sr., 79 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, May 5, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Caroline and served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl T. Wright and his son, William Rogers “Roger” Wright Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Angel Lambert (Ted); his daughter-in-law, Tracy Wright; his brother, David Wright (Pat); his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Shirley Ketterman; his grandchildren, Randy and Courtney Wright and Brett and Hayden Lambert and many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 8 at 11 a.m. in Bowling Green Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Sparta. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Caroline County Little League, P.O. Box 1179, Bowling Green VA 22427.
