Breaking News : Football coach arrested on forgery charges

Caroline High School’s new football coach, Ben Boyd, was arrested July 1 on charges of forging and uttering a public document. Both charges are Class 4 felonies. After appearing before a Caroline County magistrate, Boyd, 53 was released on a $2,500 bond.
Caroline Commonwealth’s Attorney Tony Spencer said of Boyd’s Wednesday grand jury indictment, “This case needs to be tried in a court, not in the press.”
