This website also provides numerous webcams to view live roadway conditions. Plows are working on the most frequently traveled roads first. It may be a day or two before all neighborhood streets are plowed, especially as snow continues before tapering off later today.
From 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Virginia State Police dispatchers received 583 calls for service. Of those calls for service, troopers responded to 437 motor vehicle crashes mostly involving property damage and 87 disabled vehicles.
