BOWLING GREEN ¨C State Farm Insurance has appointed Matt Brandt to lead the company¡¯s office in Caroline County.

Brandt was awarded the agency in the Town of Bowling Green after the previous owner, Mike Alsop, took early retirement.

Brandt, 28, has worked for State Farm Insurance for five years, mainly in Florida. He was interested in having his own agency with the company. He and his wife, Rachel, also considered other State Farm Insurance agencies that came open in Georgia and the Carolinas.
